I finished up with most of the side skin riveting on both the left and right sides tonight, including the top row of rivets that attach the skin to the top longeron. For that top row, only some of the rivets can be done right now, since many have to wait until the top skins are ready to go on.
All of that riveting took most of my time, but just to get rolling on the next step, I cut and match drilled a couple of attach strips that span the center bulkhead flange and longeron to tie them together. I got the left side done, but still need to do the right side. The instructions are extremely limited at this point, so I'm mostly just working off of the plans themselves. The next step the instructions say to do is to level the fuselage and attach the aft deck. I'll get to that this weekend, but first I have a lot of random riveting inside the cockpit to finish up. The instructions just assume you'll do it I guess!
